Introduction
The Sky Bringup, LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ShelfPriceAI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
Information We Collect
We process the information needed to provide shelf analysis, purchases, service protection, support, and product reliability.
- Selected shelf photos: A photo is transmitted only after you start a scan. It is sent through the Skybringup Gateway to the configured AI provider so visible labels and products can be analyzed.
- Identifiers and usage data: Our first-party services process app interactions and technical diagnostics, including app and device information, request status and latency, and IP address and user-agent information. Our publisher-operated analytics uses IP-derived country information for usage statistics; this is separate from precise GPS location. Events can be associated with a device or service identifier. A device-linked service identity is also used for access, purchases, usage limits and support.
- Purchase information: Apple App Store and Google Play handle checkout and payment-card details on their respective platforms. Our service receives product, transaction, purchase-status and verification records needed to provide or restore access. We do not receive your full payment-card details from store checkout. Verification and restoration provide the corresponding credits or access to comparisons; they do not grant unlimited comparisons.
- Comparison results: Our service stores scan results and access or unlock information so the same service session can retrieve or unlock a comparison. Local saved comparisons are handled separately.
- Support requests: If you contact support, we process the message, the reply email you choose to provide, and relevant service or purchase context. Our support system can use external messaging, email-delivery and AI services to investigate and respond to the request.
Device Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Camera: Used only when you choose to capture a shelf photo for analysis.
- Photo Library: Used only when you choose an existing shelf photo for analysis.
How We Use Your Information
- To analyze the shelf photo you submit and return a unit-price comparison
- To verify purchases, restore the corresponding credits or comparison access, and provide support
- To enforce service-protection limits, diagnose failures, and improve reliability
Service Providers
We use the following services to operate ShelfPriceAI:
- Skybringup Gateway and external AI services: The content and necessary request context described above pass through our Gateway to configured external AI routing and model services. Processing and retention depend on the services and effective settings used for the request.
- First-party analytics: Product-interaction and diagnostic events pass through our Gateway to publisher-operated analytics infrastructure. These events help us operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the app, and can be associated with device or service identifiers. Request IP information is used to derive country-level usage statistics.
- Apple App Store and Google Play: Apple App Store and Google Play handle checkout and payment-card details on their respective platforms. Our service receives product, transaction, purchase-status and verification records needed to provide or restore access. We do not receive your full payment-card details from store checkout.
Data Retention
Saved comparisons, scan history, and favorites are stored locally on your device. Information processed by our services and providers is retained only as needed for service delivery, security, fraud prevention, support, legal obligations, and the providers' documented operating requirements. You may contact us to ask about the current retention or deletion treatment for information associated with your use of the App.
Data Security
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we process.
Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, or to object to certain processing. Contact us with enough information to identify the relevant service activity. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, transactions, or legal obligations.
