The Sky Bringup, LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ShelfPriceAI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
Information We Collect
We process the information needed to provide shelf analysis, purchases, service protection, support, and product reliability.
- Selected shelf photos: A photo is transmitted only after you start a scan. It is sent through the Skybringup Gateway to the configured AI provider so visible labels and products can be analyzed.
- Identifiers and usage data: Our services may process stable device or user identifiers, product interactions, request timing, IP address, User-Agent data, coarse network location, and diagnostics to operate, protect, and improve the service.
- Purchase information: Apple handles payment credentials. We process product identifiers, transaction or verification records, entitlement status, and restoration results needed to unlock Premium access.
Device Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Camera: Used only when you choose to capture a shelf photo for analysis.
- Photo Library: Used only when you choose an existing shelf photo for analysis.
How We Use Your Information
- To analyze the shelf photo you submit and return a unit-price comparison
- To verify purchases, restore Premium access, and provide support
- To enforce service-protection limits, diagnose failures, and improve reliability
Service Providers
We use the following services to operate ShelfPriceAI:
- Skybringup Gateway and AI provider: Process the photo and required request context after you start a scan.
- Service infrastructure and analytics providers: Process operational identifiers, interactions, performance, and diagnostics needed to run and improve the service.
- Apple App Store: Handles payment credentials and provides purchase information used to verify and restore Premium access.
Data Retention
Saved comparisons, scan history, and favorites are stored locally on your device. Information processed by our services and providers is retained only as needed for service delivery, security, fraud prevention, support, legal obligations, and the providers' documented operating requirements. You may contact us to ask about the current retention or deletion treatment for information associated with your use of the App.
Data Security
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we process.
Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your Rights
